Mission Statement

Youth In Mission is a God-centered ministry, prayerfully seeking to build the kingdom of God by making global Christians. We feel called to pursue the broken, neglected and unreached areas of the world with the love of Jesus Christ. This work we aim to do through the equipping of students for incarnational ministry, sending them to care for the poor, comfort the dying, and evangelize the lost. To this end we strive personally to walk with God and to invite others so to do.

Youth In Mission (YIM) is an opportunity for college students everywhere to be involved in an extreme encounter with God and others through a short-term mission experience. YIM is a place where students will have the chance to use their God-given talents in a variety of ways through ministry to others. This short-term experience points students to a different kind of lifestyle.

In this ministry for the kingdom, students have the opportunity to sacrifice a summer for the radical involvement in a life lived with no regrets. Through our mission statement, annual themes, training, and commitment to service, our participants are reminded that only a life lived in total surrender to God can be lived with no regrets.

We invite you to join with us this year to take the "ULTIMATE CHALLENGE" to live by faith in the kingdom of God” to “Anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real, and eternal (John 12:25, The Message).”
