Argentina:
Saturday was another typical day at the church, filled with small construction projects, piano lessons and worship practice. However, our ministry site coordinator hurt his back badly doing one of the construction projects and was unable to preach on Sunday. We would like to request prayer for his back and that God continues to teach us and to use us for His amazing plans.
Creative Access:
This week is our final week of classes and we will give a small performance to our teachers, language partners, and friends with what we have learned thus far. Besides studying the language, we also have had different classes on traditional dancing, singing, painting, calligraphy, and tea. We will each give a speech about ourselves in the language, show the dance we learned, sing a song in the language, and then some will display their artwork, calligraphy, and tea.
Thank you for thinking of us!
Ghana:
We had a wonderful time serving with the Jesus Film team and were truly blessed to be a part of that ministry. We have resumed village ministry and are having a blast teaching books of the Bible! On Sunday we had the humbling opportunity of baptizing about 15 church members with our amazing pastors. Praise the Lord for new life!
India:
India is wonderful. We went to our site coordinator’s church and began helping with the child development center in the afternoons. At night we visit families for prayer. We have done everything... we've preached, led youth and women’s Bible studies, led worship, and done children's ministry. We went on a slum visited and prayed with one of the families there.
Mexico:
We have been leading children's ministries every day in the church and that has been such a blessing. The kids respond very well to the lessons we have been trying to teach them and we are hoping that we will have the opportunity to talk with some of their families in the coming week. We are praying that we may be able to meet the needs of these people in any way that we can and that we can just be an example of Christ wherever we go.
Moldova:
We have all enjoyed this past week, as God has been moving in our lives. The first week of ESL classes went great. Our students have picked up things quickly and are always eager to learn more! Their enthusiasm has been such a blessing to all of us and makes us want to teach more and more.
Vancouver, Canada:
This past week we spent a lot of time getting tasks done around the compassionate ministries site. This included manual labor in the form of changing forty light bulbs, cleaning out a storage closet, and helping the organization compile an accurate list of contacts for their press releases. We also are deepening our relationships with the people in the community here. It will definitely be difficult to leave them in just a few weeks!
Zambia:
We had some amazing outcomes from our ministry at the local Church of the Nazarene and did some amazing work at the community school there. The kids were all so amazing and we helped teach them in the schools and played games with them. We have donated many Bibles, given funds for building projects, and provided blankets and some food to others. So we are just so happy and excited of what God is not only doing among these people and this nation, but also with what He is doing in each of our lives.
